Communications.
BMS began his operation in the late 1950s at the Old Brunei Airport site. A Meteorological Station was later set up and observations were carried out to meet aviation requirements. Since then, the BDMS has developed into the national agency for the provision of meteorological service.
The BDMS is headed by the Chief Meteorological Officer and consists of 6 Units namely, the Administrative and Management Office, the Observation Unit, the Weather Services, the Climate Data and Information Centre, the Meteorological ICT Unit and the Development Unit.
